Something Soft from Anna Foundation

Something Soft from Anna Foundation was established in the memory of Anna Okarski. She suffered from
Krabbe Leukodystrophy - a genetic, degenerative neurological disorder. One in 100,000 live births in the United States are
afflicted with Krabbe Disease. Approximately 2 million people (or about 1 out of 125) in the United Stated are carriers of the
genetic deficiency that causes Krabe Disease. Yet, awareness about this disease is very limited.

Until recently the only treatment options were limited to symptom management and palliative care. But with your help, we are
bringing new hope to those afflicted with this disease.

Because of that, all proceeds from these hand-sewn hooded bath towels benefit the Something Soft from Anna Foundation,
an organization that provides any child diagnosed with Krabbe Leukodystrophy with their very own hooded towel.

We sell these beautifully trimmed towels in colors for girls, boys and in neutral tones. Volunteers hand sew and package
each one, making them perfect for a baby shower, new birth or gift for any kid that loves to be snuggled!

Anna passed away in 2000 at the age of one.
